Almond harvest on the Territory
Harvest season is always the most rewarding time of the year on the Altiplano de Granada - one of the largest almond growing territories of Europe!
Miguel was happy to show me around his farm near the town of Cúllar, and how the machinery technique he uses to harvest his almonds works. It was my first time seeing this on the field, which will result in tonnes of sun-dried almonds (still in their shell) ready to be delivered to the big processor...
